Frequently asked questions

What ages is it for?
The supported age range is not yet fixed. Until it is, we do not guide families to use it on the basis of a specific age.
Does it cost anything?
The beta is free with no automatic billing. Paid scope and timing for the full release are undecided, and no price is shown until they are fixed.
Which devices are supported?
The apps are not distributed yet. Supported devices and system requirements will be listed only with real values when distribution begins.
What happens after I apply?
At this stage an application is an interest registration, not a formal selection. The acceptance state and next contact step are shown after submission.
How is children's data handled?
Public forms never collect child-identifying data. Children's data is handled minimally and under guardian control.
What do I do once invited?
Follow the steps in your invitation email. At this time there is no public store installation.
Is four-locale legal review complete?
No. It is in progress, and each legal page states this.
How do I report a vulnerability?
Use the security report page. A paid bounty is not guaranteed.
Is this only a Mandarin-learning website?
No. MTFDX Kids is a family-first product family: Safety is the core, Companion and the family account are high-frequency, and Learn and Explore are value-added modules.
Which language do children learn?
The learning language is Mandarin with Simplified glyphs. The interface supports Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
